In elementary school I was influenced by a famous landscape painter, Ernő Kiss. Many years later I became a self-made artist. I'm interested in cartoons, comics and movies' visual effects, mainly Tim Burton's and Guillermo del Toro's. In the 1990's I used tempera, watercolors and paper but nowadays I prefer oil, canvas or wood. I admire El Greco's, Leyendecker's style, and Hungarian painters as Armand Schönberger, János Vaszary. I usually catch dark gothic, fantasy characters or moods.
